- Final 50% payment due 6 weeks prior to wedding date to ensure all paperwork can be completed and submitted in time. Non- Refundable
- Payment Terms: Unless fees are paid in full prior to the ceremony it is the Celebrants discretion as to whether the ceremony will proceed.
- Payment Plans: Payment plans may be offered at the Celebrant’s discretion. Where a payment plan is approved, all instalments must be paid by the agreed due dates. Failure to make payments on time may result in the cancellation of services, withholding of documentation, or termination of the agreement. All payments made are non‑refundable, including instalments already paid, should the Couple cancel the booking.
- Invoicing Terms: Invoice is based on current location, time and date of event, if any of these details were to change, quote will need to be amended. Written notice is to be given to the celebrant from the client and it is the clients responsibility to ensure this amendment is acknowledged and received by the celebrant.
- Extreme Weather: Decisions regarding the safety and suitability of conducting the ceremony in extreme weather conditions (including but not limited to heavy rain, high winds, storms, or extreme heat) are at the sole discretion of the Celebrant. The Celebrant may pause, relocate, or modify the ceremony if conditions pose a risk to participants, guests, or equipment.
- Use of Equipment: The use of the Celebrant’s equipment—including speakers, microphones, and related electronics—is subject to the Celebrant’s discretion. Equipment will not be used in conditions that may cause damage or pose safety risks, such as rain, wet environments, or extreme heat. The Couple is responsible for providing alternative arrangements if required.
- Backup Celebrant: In the unlikely event that the Celebrant is unable to attend the ceremony due to serious illness, emergency, or other exceptional circumstances, the Celebrant will make all reasonable efforts to assist the Couple in securing a qualified replacement Celebrant for the day. While assistance will be provided, the Celebrant cannot guarantee availability of a replacement. All paperwork and scripting shall be made available to the replacement celebrant.
- Required Paperwork: The ceremony shall not proceed, according to The Marriage Act 1961, if the Notice of Intended Marriage is not received by the Celebrant at the very least one month prior to the wedding date and it is the clients responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
- Identity Documents: The Celebrant must have sighted all required ID documents and any other relevant certificates prior to the ceremony proceeding. If the client has not supplied the celebrant with such documentation, then the ceremony shall not proceed according to The Marriage Act 1961.
- Marriage Registration Fees: This invoice does not include Marriage Certificate Application/ Registration fees. These are payable by the newly married couple however as the celebrant I will assist you in completing and submitting all paperwork. These fees vary from $65-75 depending on certificate choice.
